Having lived in the Shire of Plantagenet since 1962 and worked here since 1979
I feel I have a good local knowledge. As a retired nurse and a senior with a
good sense of humour I can bring a rounded ethic to Empowering Plantagenet
Seniors. I have been involved with EPS since the first working bee in 2020, first
as a volunteer and then as Vice-President.

For the past 49 years, Mt Barker has been my home, where I’ve worked, raised my family and become deeply involved in the community. Over the past 3 years, I’ve worked as a cook and board member of Empowering Plantagenet Seniors, providing a safe and welcoming space for seniors to socialize, receive support and connect with others, and I’m proud of the positive impact we’ve made and continue make in the lives of our community’s seniors.
